Are sparklers considered fireworks?
Sparklers are technically designated "novelty items" by the Department of Transportation and, therefore, it is legal to transport sparklers over
state lines without any legal hassle. However, shipping is limited to the contiguous United States.
How long after I place my order will it take for my sparklers to be delivered?
The packaging and processing of a given order usually takes between 24 and 72 hours. By law, sparklers must be shipped via ground service which can take anywhere from 2-5 business days. If you would like to check the specific time in transit to your city, visit UPS.com. We are based in Stephens City, VA 22655. How can sparklers be used for wedding ceremonies?
You are bound only by your creativity. Some ideas include: guests holding sparklers during events such as
the first dance, the toast, the "runway" to the wedding departure etc.
Are sparklers hard to light?
Although matches may work, our sparklers are designed to light easily with a lighter.
Do sparklers come in any other colors than gold?
Yes. However, other colors produce excessive smoke and tend to glow instead of sparkle.
I heard a horror story from a bride whose wedding sparklers ruined her wedding dress. Is this going to happen with your sparklers?
Typically, any story you have heard about a hardwood floor or wedding dress being ruined by sparklers was the result of the use of a bamboo sparkler. Bamboo sparklers have wooden handles that, as they burn, drop ash or cinders that can damage clothing or floors. Since our sparklers have a metal shaft, they do not produce any excessive smoke or ash. (Although our sparklers do not drop ashes or cinders, it is recommended that they not come into contact with clothing after use as the resultant pyrotechnic material may leave a chalk-like residue.
